John “Freeborn” Welch is a structural performance specialist and founder of the Freeborn Structural Framework — a progressive model guiding clients through regulation, orientation, integration, and strength to restore structural sovereignty.
For more than two decades, John has worked with individuals navigating chronic pain, instability, dizziness, neurological disruption, and long-standing movement dysfunction. His work focuses not on symptom suppression, but on restoring regulatory control and structural organization at the root.
Born with clubbed feet and casted in infancy, John’s early years were marked by instability. A severe wrist injury later led to years of painkiller dependence — until he chose a different path. Rather than surgery, he rebuilt his structure from the inside out. Within two years, he restored full mobility and eliminated medication — an experience that shaped the foundation of his life’s work.
Through his exploration of the ligamentum nuchae and neurological regulation, John developed a system that has helped clients resolve migraines, neuropathy, TMJ, post-concussive symptoms, and chronic instability patterns.
Today, he guides clients through Freeborn Rebuild — a 10-week, one-on-one structural progression designed to restore regulatory control and cultivate structural sovereignty.
His mission is simple:
Help people move from fragility to sovereignty — and build bodies they can trust.
